Nulo was founded when Michael Landa noticed an increasing trend of overweight and diabetic cats and dogs, and he set out to find the source of the problem. Michael found that many pet foods were filled with empty calories that came from filler ingredients so he teamed up with animal nutritionists, veterinarians, and food formulators to create recipes with great sources of animal-based proteins that are lower in carbs and use low-glycemic ingredients to promote healthy body condition and stable energy.
Your small breed deserves a single-source protein recipe, too! Our FreeStyle Small Breed Puppy & Adult Turkey Limited+ recipe has 57% turkey and turkey meal in every 8 oz cup, which is going to help your little athlete help build strong muscles and bounce back from a day of play.
This recipe is formulated with your small breed’s needs in mind, so we added L-Carnitine to support a healthy weight and a smaller kibble size so your dog gets exactly what he or she needs to live a happy, healthy life.
